Zoom is a communications software that combines video conferencing, online meetings, chat and mobile collaboration. Zoom allows for HD video and high-quality audio for all meetings. It contains collaboration tools, that allow multiple participants can share their screens simultaneously and co-annotate for a more interactive meeting. Zoom also supports scheduling or starting meetings from Outlook, Gmail, or iCal. Zoom Meetings syncs with your calendar system and delivers streamlined enterprise-grade video conferencing from desktop and mobile. You can access your free Pro account by going to Oklahoma.zoom.us and logging in with your OU Net ID and OU Password or OUHSC.Zoom.us and logging in with your OUHSC Username and Password.
OU Learning Spaces and designated Zoom Admins will oversee all users in Zoom Video Conference Licenses. This will allow for enterprise integrations with Campus-wide tools, such as Microsoft Teams, Qualtrics and MyMedia.
All OU/OUHSC faculty, staff, students, residents and affiliates receive a Pro Licensed account.
Zoom Users will login at Oklahoma.Zoom.us. OU IT is providing a Pro license to all OU/OUHSC Faculty, Staff, Students, Residents and Affiliates. Zoom Add-On licenses, such as Webinar and Large Meeting can be purchased for an additional cost. Please see Request Service form for more information. A Zoom Webinar or Large Meeting license for streaming events, lunch and learns, and lectures is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, at no additional cost to users. Please see Request Service button for the request form.
