TDX Generated Email Reply Confirming the Reservation of Loaner Zoom Webinar License

Hello [Requestor] 

Thank you for your request. It has been approved for the requested dates. You will receive your license the day before your start date and we will take it back the day after your event. 

If you need to register or share the Webinar information ahead of that time, you can schedule a meeting and take registration that way and then convert to webinar once you have that license. Confirming (if needed) the Zoom Webinar License Has Been Attached to the Requested Email Account 

  1. Upon receipt of TDX generated email confirming the reservation of loaner Zoom Webinar license, verify event date is accurate. 

  1. On the day before the event, sign into the Zoom web portal at https://oklahoma.zoom.us/

  1. In the navigation menu, click Profile

  1. Scroll down to License in the Account section. 

  1. Confirm under Licensed there is a Zoom Webinars listing 500 attendees or 1000 attendees.  

 

Converting the Zoom Meeting Into a Webinar 

  1. Sign into the Zoom web portal at https://oklahoma.zoom.us/

  1. In the navigation menu, select Meetings

  1. Select the name of the meeting you would like to convert to a webinar. 

  1. Scroll down and select Convert this Meeting to a Webinar link, located to the right of the Start, Edit, Delete, and Save as Template options. 

  1. Confirm that you want to convert this meeting to a webinar by selecting Convert

 

The meeting and webinar platforms offer similar features and functionality but have some key differences. Meetings are designed to be a collaborative event where all parties can see, hear, and share with each other, whereas webinars are designed so that the host and designated panelists can share and view-only attendees can watch the presentation.
