SSL certificates are used to secure hosted web services so that all internet communications between the service and the client are encrypted. Certificates are also utilized to verify the identity of hosted system to assure clients and customers they are interacting with the appropriate system. All SSL certificates deployed as part of this service are Public Certificates bound to the University of Oklahoma.
OU IT provides this service for FREE to all campus users.
