OU Information Technology’s Learning Spaces team is available for on-site, scheduled training for technology-enabled classrooms and collaborative spaces. Our goal is to offer proactive user training so that members of the OU community can use display technology with confidence.
OU IT offers faculty, instructors, students, staff, and visitors over 350 technology-enriched learning spaces, ranging from state-of-the-art active learning classrooms, to conference rooms, collaborative breakout spaces, and automated recording studios. These spaces are designed, engineered, and installed by a highly specialized team of audio video specialists, and are held to a rigorous standard of functionality and intuitive ease-of-use. Classroom technology assistance is available to:
- OU faculty and instructors
- OU staff and administrators
- OU student organizations
Requests are subject to approval by OU IT, and are contingent on existing schedule of availability at the time of the request. Please submit your request for classroom technology assistance in advance, no less than 48 hours prior to the preferred date and time in order to allow for scheduling and confirmation. Our team will contact you to confirm the scheduled time or to reschedule based on availability. There is currently no cost associated with processing a request for classroom technology training and assistance in learning spaces managed by OU IT. Note that an hourly rate of up to $33 per hour may apply for technology spaces managed by individual colleges or departments that do not fall within areas supported by OU IT.
