If you are setting up your device or if you have recently changed your password, you may configure your device using the settings below. Please note you will also need to set up PingID Multi-Factor Authentication, as you may be prompted to approve the authentication of your username and password.
Setting up OU Microsoft 365 email in the native Android Gmail app
- To begin, open the "Gmail" app on your Android device. If you do not have the Gmail app, open the Google Play Store app on your phone or tablet to install it.
- Now open the Gmail app.
- Tap the menu icon in the upper left corner > Settings > Add account > Exchange and Microsoft 365.
- To sign in, enter your email alias, for example: johnwilliamsmith@ou.edu and tap Next.
- Type your OU/OUHC password, and then tap Sign In.
- If your device can’t connect make sure you typed your email address and password correctly and try again.
- You should now receive a PingID Multi-Factor prompt to approve.
- Your mailbox should now load and be added. If you receive a prompts asking if you wish to received notifications or share your information, please make your selections.
