Microsoft 365 is the current name for the suite of products formerly found in Microsoft Office. The most widely used applications in the suite include Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word. Please see the installer for other included applications.
Upon logging in to m365.cloud.microsoft/apps with your OU/OUHC e-mail address and password, licensed users will see an option to install Microsoft 365 on their computer. Microsoft 365 for Windows
- To download the Microsoft 365 Suite, log into Microsoft 365 at https://m365.cloud.microsoft/apps.
- At the top of the page, one should see an “Install apps” button.
- Click the link to select the Microsoft 365 Apps option.
- In the Version menu, select whether you wish to download the 32-bit or 64-bit version. When ready, click the Install Office button.
- Your browser should now prompt whether you want to run or save the installer file for Microsoft 365 Pro Plus. Running the installation file will automatically begin the installation once it finishes downloading, whereas saving the installation file requires you to find the file and run it once the download completes.
- On the User Account Control prompt, click ‘Yes.’ The installer will now load.
- If you receive a warning prompt because it detected Windows Installer based version of older Office products, please see this page before proceeding.
- Office for Microsoft 365 will now install, a progress bar should fill during this process. Once it completes, click the Close button.
- The Microsoft 365 Office suite is now installed on your computer. The programs should now be listed in your Start menu programs list.
- Upon loading one of these programs for the first time, you will be prompted to Accept the license agreement. Click Accept to proceed. Your program should now open.
- Your new installation should now be registered to your computer.
