If your installation of Office is crashing on launch or having issues running, you may wish to try a repair installation. To repair the Office application, follow these steps
- On the Windows Start screen, type Control Panel. Alternately click Search and search for Control Panel.
- Click or tap Control Panel.
- Under Programs, click or tap Uninstall a program.
- Click or tap Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise, and then click or tap Change. If you receive a security prompt, click Allow or Yes.
- Click or tap QuickRepair, and then click or tap Repair. You may have to restart your computer after the repair process is complete.
