College, Clinical, and Department Device Support

Client Support Staff offer hardware and software support to include computers (laptops and/or desktops), mobile devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets) peripherals (e.g., monitors, printers, keyboards) and hard disk encryption.

Cost

Varies per established OU IT MoU with identified skill sets, knowledge and customer schedules.

Availability

Colleges, clinics, and departments on the Tulsa campus covered by an OU IT MoU may request support during the determined customer schedules as defined in the agreement. Standard IT support hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm.

  • Consultations on computer, mobile device and peripheral purchases
  • Configuration, installation and inventory management of computers, mobile devices and peripherals
  • Perform hard disk encryptions per compliance requirements
  • Device maintenance and support
  • Coordinate and/or perform hardware repair (excludes mobile devices and printers)
  • Software installation, configuration and support
  • Malware/virus removal
