Error Messages When Using Kaltura MyMedia in Canvas

Kaltura recently made some updates that are resulting in errors when trying to embed content in Canvas. This article will guide you through the current fix for the error.

1. Navigate to Settings in the Course Navigation Bar.

2. Click Settings.

3. In the options at the top of the page, click Navigation.

4. Scroll down the page until you see Kaltura MyMedia. You can add it by clicking the three dots and then clicking Enable.

Once enabled, you can move Kaltura MyMedia to your desired placement in the Course Navigation Bar by clicking and holding on the eight dots and then dragging it to the appropriate location.

5. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Save.

6. In the Course Navigation Bar, click Kaltura MyMedia.

7. Click Authorize. This is safe to do-it's just letting Kaltura MyMedia know that you want to use it in Canvas.

8. Once you've completed the authorization, you will see your Kaltura MyMedia uploads.
