OU VPN Setup for iOS Devices

iOS (iPhone and iPad)

1. To begin, click on the Settings application on your iOS device.
2. Select the General category.
3. Scroll down and select VPN & Device Management.
4. Select "VPN".
5. Click the “Add VPN Configuration…” option.
6. For Type, select IPSec, then click Add Configuration to return to the previous page.
7. For Description, enter OU VPN.
8. For Server, enter soonerconnect1.ou.edu
9. For Account, enter your OUNet ID.
10. For Password, enter your OUNet password.
11. For Group Name, enter users.
12. For Secret, enter ou-vpn
13. Select Done when finished.
14. To connect, ensure your new OU VPN connection is selected, then click the Status option to change from Not Connected to Connected.
15. You will then be prompted to approve a PingID MFA request.
16. You may be prompted to enter your OUNet password again.
17. Read the network authorization agreement and then click OK if you agree.
18. You should now be connected to the OU VPN. If you wish to disconnect, touch the Connected toggle.
