Configure your Voicemail Settings
You can manage your voicemail settings, such as greetings, transcription, storage, and notification from the Webex User Hub.
Sign in to Webex User Hub with your OU email address.
Go to Settings > Calling > Voicemail.
From this page, you can view your voicemails, set or reset your PIN, and modify the voicemail functionality.

User Hub Voicemail Inbox and PIN
Click on the Manage Voicemails button to manage and listen to your voicemail messages. You can download individual voicemail messages as wav files. You can also delete messages individually from this page.
To reset your PIN for voicemail, go to the Voicemail PIN section and click Reset voicemail PIN. Enter and confirm a new number, following the PIN requirements.
Check your Voicemail on your Cisco 9871 Phone
When you have new voicemails on your phone, you can see the following indicators on the phone:
- The Top 360 LED on the phone lights up in heart-beating red.
- On a phone with multiple lines, the voicemail icon
or the urgent voicemail icon
display together with a message count next to the line that has new voicemails.
- A digit appears on the Recents button
(small clock icon), which indicates that your phone might have new missed calls, voicemails, or both. The digit represents the total number of new missed calls and voicemails on the phone. To view voicemails from call history, see 8875 for details.
To access your voicemail, press the physical Favorite button
on the phone.

Single line: If only voicemail is configured on the phone, your phone dials the voicemail number directly.

Multiple lines: If only voicemail is configured on the phone, you will see a list in which the message count represents the number of new messages for the related line. In this situation, select a line to dial the voicemail number.

Follow the voice instructions to access your messages.
Check your Voicemail in the Webex App
When you have a voicemail message waiting for you, you see a badge counter (Message Waiting Indicator) next to your Voicemail (desktop) or Calls (mobile) icon letting you know how many messages you have waiting for you. With Webex Calling, you may get transcriptions of your voicemail messages that you can read.

Desktop App
You do not need a PIN to access voice messages directly in Webex App.
Go to Voicemail
, choose a message, and then listen to the message in one of the following ways:
- Right-click the message and choose Play voice message.
- Click Play
in the window that opens to the right.
You have a few other options at your fingertips: call the person back with audio or video, delete the message, or mark the message as read.
Mobile App
Make sure you have your PIN handy. You'll need it to listen to your messages and manage your voicemail.
- Go to Calling
and then tap Voicemail at the top of your Call History.
- Choose a message, and then in the Voicemail information window, tap Play
.
You have a few other options at your fingertips: call the person back, delete the message, or mark the message as read.
