Saving Your Encryption Certification as a PDF for Document Upload Verification

On this page:

Upload your "Student Encryption Certification" to Complio to complete the OUHSC Student Encryption and Compliance process.

Shortly after submitting the Student Encryption Certification Form you will receive a "Student Encryption Certification" email (see example image) from servicedesk@ou.edu. Use the provided instructions to save the email as a PDF and then upload to Complio. Complio is an online system that the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center uses to track and manage certification requirements among different HSC programs at all campus sites.

OU policy requires device encryption on laptop computers that may store sensitive or confidential information (e.g., SSN and financial information, patient information). For laptops used by OU Health Sciences Center, the presumption is that the device may be used for this purpose and therefore must be encrypted. Students should backup and encrypt laptops. As part of this process, users will need to follow the encryption and registration steps outlined here.
