MyDesk (VDI) Health Campus WFH Solution

Accessing VDI:

  1. Navigate to https://mydesk.ou.edu and sign in using your Health Campus ID.
  2. Click on VMware Horizon HTML Access (Note VMWare branding has updated to Omnissa). VMware Horizon with HTML Access highlighted
  3. Enter your Health Campus ID and Password. VMware Horizon username and password fields
  4. You should also now be promoted to accept the authentication in PingID. VMware Horizon logging in progress bar
  5. Faculty and staff should select COOP Remote Pool from the list of available virtual desktops. Students should select OUVDI-1a unless your college IT staff communicates the availability of a college-specific VDI pool. VMware Horizon remote pool with COOP Remote Pool listed
  6. Desktop will load using your respective campus credentials. Windows Welcome screen
