Email Going to Junk Mail Folder

If you have e-mail from an individual that is erroneously going to a junk mail folder, you can force Microsoft Outlook to send the e-mail to your inbox or any other folder you wish:

  1. Right click on the message or select “rules” from the top of the page.
  2. Your first choice gives you the option of where to move messages from the person sending the message.
  3. Type in “Inbox” or whatever other mailbox folder to which you wish the e-mail sent.

Note: this advice is specific for Microsoft Outlook and does not apply to the Mail App within Microsoft 365.
