Changing the feature/display labels on your IP 9611 model phones

Avaya Model 9611 Feature Key Update

Avaya model 9611 phones support the ability to label lines on the phone. These lines can be assigned numbers for autodialing as well as names. To change the labels for these feature keys, do the following:

  1. On your phone, press the Home button.
  2. Select Options & Settings.
  3. Toggle down to Applications and press Select or OK. (Use the down arrow button under
    OK to toggle down.)
  4. Toggle down to personal label and press Change.
  5. Toggle down to the button to label.
  6. Select Edit.
  7. Use the numbers/letters on the dialpad to re-label. Press Save.
  8. Press Phone button to go back to the main screen.
