Basecamp Enterprise is a Project Management site, available for all faculty and staff members at the University.

A Basecamp (project) is a space online where people working together can organize and discuss everything they need to get a project done. Members of a basecamp can view, track, discuss, and act on activities.

OU IT offers Basecamp for FREE to all OU faculty and staff.

Basecamp Enterprise is available to all full-time OU faculty and staff.

Basecamp is a Project Management tool that allows you to share documents and files to a group, have instant and direct messages using pings, keep discussions focused and on topic through message boards, add and create to-do lists, and set deadlines and milestones with schedules.

Basecamp even works over email – people who prefer email can simply reply to discussions via any email app without ever having to log into Basecamp. Basecamp also allows a new client side feature that allows you to bring in outside OU resources to a project.

Basecamp offers apps that can be downloaded on Windows (PC running a 64-bit version of Window 7 or newer), Mac (MacBook Pro, MacBook, or iMac running OS X 10.9 Mavericks or newer). Android (Google Play store and device running Android 5 “Lollipop” or newer), and iOS (App Store and device running iOS 10 or newer).
