Please note that license requests may take approximately 10 business days to process. Due to license availability and the potential need to request new licenses from the vendor, this processing time may also be extended beyond 10 business days as necessary.

The Project download is a desktop application that will only function on Windows. All OU accounts have access to a browser-only version with limited functionality to view projects shared with you and to mark tasks as complete.  This limited version does not allow the ability to create, edit, or modify.

Microsoft Project licenses are available for $67.75 per user, per year. Licenses are automatically renewed annually on July 1st and licenses purchased after July 1st will be pro-rated by the monthly rate.  If the licenses are purchased after the 15th of the month, billing will start on the 1st of the following month.  Licenses purchased prior to the 15th of the month will be billed for the current month.  Licenses may be cancelled at the end of the annual contract, between June 1st and June 30th to avoid being billed for another year.

Microsoft Project is available for department purchase for business use by faculty, staff and student employees. Users who have licenses purchased by their department using this request form will access the software via their Microsoft 365 portal.

Microsoft Project is available for students and instructors for educational/instructional purposes only via the Azure Dev Tools for Education site.
