The Project download is a desktop application that will only function on Windows. All OU accounts have access to a browser-only version with limited functionality to view projects shared with you and to mark tasks as complete. This limited version does not allow the ability to create, edit, or modify.
Microsoft Project licenses are available for $67.75/year. Licenses may be cancelled at the end of the annual contract, between June 1st and June 30th to avoid being billed for another year.
Microsoft Project is available for department purchase for business use by faculty, staff and student employees. Users who have licenses purchased by their department using this request form will access the software via their Microsoft 365 portal. Microsoft Project is available for students and instructors for educational/instructional purposes only via the Azure Dev Tools for Education site.
