MATLAB

MATLAB is a technical computation software that allows you to analyze and design the systems and products that are transforming our world. It is used for machine learning, signal processing, image processing, computer vision, communications, computational finance, control design, robotics, and much more. MATLAB helps you take your ideas beyond the desktop.

Free download available through the MathWorks website. To download the software, click "Download" on the right side of this page. Once on the Mathworks site, click the "Sign in to get started" button. Next sign in with your OU username and password. After you have logged in, you will need to create a MathWorks account or sign in with your existing MathWorks account. You may then download Matlab.

Cost

This software is free to eligible faculty, staff and students with active OU accounts.

Availability

MATLAB is available to faculty, staff, and students on the Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems. MATLAB is licensed for teaching, learning and academic research and may be installed on university owned and personal machines.

MATLAB may also be accessed online through our campus wide license at https://matlab.mathworks.com/. To access the site, you will first need to sign up for a MathWorks account using your OU email address or sign in with your existing MathWorks account.
