Brightspace by D2L Archive Request

The University transitioned the learning management system (LMS) for Health Sciences programs from Brightspace by D2L to Canvas. As of June 15, 2024, Brightspace by D2L is inaccessible to the university community. A Brightspace by D2L data archive request is available for the following circumstances:

1. Legal Request: If you require information contained in D2L related to a lawsuit.
2. Incomplete/Grade Dispute: If you have incomplete(s) or are involved in a grade dispute and need specific course-related data.
3. Course Content Migration: For content that needs to be migrated to Canvas and was not part of the official migration plan (applicable to FA21-SP24 courses).

To initiate a request, please click on “Request Service” to your right. While you will not be granted direct access to the D2L archive, the IT Learning Spaces (ITLS) team will make every effort to extract the necessary information. This may be provided in the form of reports or migrated content within Canvas.

Requests will be prioritized in the order circumstances outlined above. Course Content Migration requests are the lowest-priority and will be given best effort.
