This service focuses on instructional technology used for teaching and learning within the College of Nursing and supported by the IT Learning Spaces College of Nursing team.

  • Business Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (excluding university holidays and closures)
  • Requests impacting live or scheduled instruction are prioritized when possible.

Some requests may require coordination with central OU IT teams, which can affect response or resolution timelines.

  • Assistance with Canvas, YuJa Panorama, Respondus LockDown Browser, Turnitin, Simple Syllabus, and other instructional technologies used in College of Nursing courses
  • Canvas course and template reviews and exam reviews
  • Simple Syllabus support and troubleshooting
  • Guidance on accessible instructional materials aligned with ADA and digital accessibility best practices utilizing YuJa Panorama and Microsoft 365
  • Provide one-on-one consultations

This service is available to the College of Nursing faculty, staff, and students for issues related to instructional technology.

What types of issues should be submitted through this service? 

Requests related to Canvas or instructional tools, such as enrollment issues, course access problems, exam moderation, and any troubleshooting issues that occur with the supported tools.

What information should I include when submitting a request? 

Each option on the service form asks for the specific pieces the team will need.  There is also an area for writing out more details, the more information you can provide the quicker we may come to a resolution.

Does this service support personal devices?

No. This service focuses on instructional technology used for teaching and learning. Requests related to personal devices may be redirected to the central OU IT College and Department Device support service page.
