Using EPP EasyLock with Removable Media

Endpoint Protector (EPP) EasyLock is required for compliant use of removable media on university owned computers.

  1. To begin, connect your removable media drive (USB thumb drive or hard drive) to your computer.  You should receive a prompt to deploy EasyLock to the drive. This program takes care of encrypting files.  EasyLock pop up alert
  2. Once EasyLock has been deployed, you will need to click on the application to finish setting it up. This PC with EasyLock file and folder listed
  3. Follow the on screen instructions and click “OK”. EasyLock Configuration window
  4. Once the application has been set up, you will be asked to enter the password to access files. EasyLock password window
     
  5. Copy your files back onto the drive using the EasyLock application. EasyLock application with file copy notification
