CMS Supervisor Installation

**NOTE: If you will not be accessing CMS through the OUHSC network, you can use the web version: https://webcms.ouhsc.edu/CMSWeb/#/login

1.  Click here to download and then install the new version of CMS Supervisor (R19).

  • Note that the above download is an .exe file. When you attempt to download the file, Windows may warn that the file is potentially malicious.
    • In Edge, click the elipsis in the upper right corner and select Downloads. Now click the elipsis next to this item and select Keep, then select Keep anyway. The full file should then download.
    • In Chrome you will need to right click on the link and select "Save link as...". Now click the Downloads button at the top right of your browser, find the download at the top of the list, right click and select Keep. The full file should then download.

2.  Click Save File.  You will see a message that indicates that the files are being extracted.  You may be on a browser that automatically starts the install package and may not see this window.

3.  Click Next on the Welcome Screen.

4.  Click Next on the InstallShield Wizard Screen.

5.  Click Install on the Ready to Install Screen.

6.  The Setup Status Screen will show the progress of the installation.

7.  Click No on the README file Screen.

8.  Click Finish on the Wizard Complete Screen.

9.  To access the CMS Supervisor version 19, click Start > All Programs > Avaya > CMS Supervisor R19 -- English.

10.  When prompted for a server name, click New.

11.  Set the following attributes:

Server Name = hsc-cms.ouhsc.edu
Server Version = CMS R19
Connection = SSH 
Click OK (twice).

12.  Enter your OUHSC user name (lower case) and password.  Click OK.

13.  If you would like a shortcut added to your desktop, right click on CMS Supervisor R19 -- English > Send to > Desktop (create shortcut).
