Mac: Configure Outlook for OUHSC Email

Outlook Configuration for Mac

 

1. Once you Outlook you'll be greeted with a window asking you for your email address (if you already have an account set up in Outlook, click Preferences from the Outlook menu and select Accounts). Enter your HSC email address (e.g., amelia-pond@ouhsc.edu). Press "Continue".

2. Outlook 2016 should automatically find Exchange (if not, please got to 5 below). Fill out the window with the following information:

  • Method: Username and Password
  • Email address: first-lastname@ouhsc.edu (e.g., amelia-pond@ouhsc.edu)
  • DOMAN\username or Email: ouhsc\username (e.g., ouhsc\apond)
  • Password: Your HSC password
  • Server address: webmail.ouhsc.edu
  • Your window should look like this:

3. Click "Add Account"

4. You should get a window indicating your account has been added. Click "Done".

Outlook is now configured to receive OUSHC email.

5. If Outlook is having a difficult time configuring your account, click "Choose the Provider".

6. Select Exchange from the provider list.

7. Go to #3 above and follow steps 2 - 4.
