[VCD] Uploading Your Own Media

I. You have to first create a catalog in your organization.

  1. Log in
  2. Click the Catalog button on the top left. 
  3. Make sure My Organization's Catalogs is selected and that you are on the Catalogs tab
  4. Click the green plus button to add a new catalog.
  5. Give the catalog a name and choose who can see the catalog

II.

  1. Double click your newly made catalog and click the media tab
  2. You can then click the upload icon to upload your media
  3. Click the browse button to browse your computer for the file you want to upload
  4. Give it a name (and description if you want) and click upload.
    • It may take a bit to upload but once it's done, you can use the media to install to your VM
  5. Go to your VM by going back to the Home tab and double clicking the VM. Click on the VM and click the CD icon which is "insert cd/dvd from catalogue" and you can choose the media you just uploaded.
  6. Once you start up your VM (see this article) it should boot from the disc and you can begin installation.
