Add a list in a Web Part in SharePoint (Team Collaboration)

Example: Task List inserted on a Landing Page


Insert Web Part

  • Click on the Edit Icon or select the Site Actions pull down menu and click on Edit Page.
  • Place your cursor in the area where you want to insert a Web Part.
  • Under the Editing Tools tab, click the Insert tab and click Web Part.
  • You should see your site Lists, Libraries and other items that can be inserted on a page. Select the Task List and click Add.
  • You should now see the Task List on your page, like the screenshot above. SharePoint uses the 'default' task list view, but you can change to any other views.
