Ensure the following steps have been completed:
- You currently have remote access (VPN).
- You have a device enrolled in PingID.
Installing Global Protect
- Navigate to soonervpn.tulsa.ou.edu (Norman-based account) or vpn.tulsa.ou.edu (HSC-based account) to download the GlobalProtect Remote Access (VPN) client.
*OU-issued devices should already GlobalProtect installed. If you do not see it on your OU-issued device, please submit a Device Support Request as it will need an administrator password to install.
- Log in to the site using your OUNetID (4x4) or OUHSC username and password.

- Select the download option that is right for you (Windows or Mac).

- Open and run the downloaded GlobalProtect file.

- Follow the on-screen instructions in the setup wizard to install GlobalProtect on your system.




- GlobalProtect is now installed on your device. Click on the Start menu and open the Palo Alto Networks folder. Click on GlobalProtect to make sure the VPN application is running.

- If you are ready to connect, please follow the directions in the Knowledge Base Article - How to Connect to GlobalProtect.
