Large Format Printing

Large Format Printing icon NOTE:  In alignment with the University holiday schedule, Large Format Printing office hours during the upcoming holiday season are indicated below. Orders placed during this period will be processed the next working business day and order pickup will not be available during these times.

The office will be closed for Thanksgiving break beginning Thursday November 27th, 2025 and will reopen Monday December 1st, 2025 and again for winter break beginning Wednesday December 24th, 2025 and will reopen Monday January 5th, 2026. 

Providing large format printing services to OU Campus students, faculty, staff, along with OU Health employees. We offer printing on gloss photo paper or lightweight matte polyester fabric to create professional quality banners, displays, and posters based on images you create. 

To request a print, please fill out the service request form and attach your image as a PDF file in your required dimensions. We are unable to resize or scale images received.  Please note that a separate request must be made for each file you wish to have printed.

Gloss Photo Paper:
Premium gloss photo paper delivers unrivaled image quality for brilliant photos and high-impact display graphics for posters and presentations. Must be left flat or rolled for transport. Thickness is 9mil.

Polyester Fabric: 
Lightweight polyester canvas fabric creates indoor/outdoor high-impact displays and banners for conferences and events in a slightly textured matte finish. This fabric produces brilliant prints that resist creases and wrinkles making it the ideal choice for traveling. Thickness is 8mil.

​Processing Time: 
Posters are printed in the order they are fully approved. Please allow a minimum of 2 business days for processing. During periods of high order volume, additional time may be required. Delays in the approval process can affect our ability to fulfill orders on schedule.  We advise all requesters to check with their specific area as many programs, colleges, and departments have their own lead time requirements for printing orders and approvals.    

Fabric prints with either dimension exceeding 48" must be printed on a specialized printer and will require additional processing time. Please allow a minimum of 3 business days for printing.

Please note prints are only available for pick up at our Room 251 location and photo identification will be required.

Cost

Billing will be charged by linear inch, based on the paper roll used to print your poster (36" or 42"). You will be charged $1.50 per linear inch for 36" wide paper, $1.70 per linear inch for 42" wide. Please use the table below to estimate the cost.

The preferred method of payment is by using your department's chart field spread (CFS). Other ways to submit payment include contacting your department's financial administrator and submitting a service unit request (SUR), or payment by credit card when necessary. If using a CFS or SUR, you will be asked to enter it when you submit your order and once the print order is approved by the requester, a billing approval request will be sent to the appropriate CFS approvers. For credit card payments, you will receive a link to pay online once your order has been verified. Orders will not be printed until approval is confirmed by the CFS/SUR approvers or credit card payment is made in full.

Please note that we will no longer accept payment via SUR after January 16th, 2026.

If paying by credit card, we accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.  University PCards cannot be accepted.
