Audio Video - Classroom/Conference Room [Tulsa]

Academic Technology provides specialized in-room support and training services to assist the University of Oklahoma community with the technical aspects of technology use in classrooms, meeting rooms and collaborative settings across campus. Services include: system troubleshooting and resolution, on-site faculty assistance/training, system monitoring and system maintenance/planning.

 

Academic Technology support priority is based upon the following hierarchy:

  • Centrally Scheduled Classrooms
  • Non – Managed Classrooms / Partnership Agreement Engagement Spaces
  • All other Engagement Spaces

Cost

Centrally Scheduled Space – There is no cost for support/assistance in a centrally scheduled space.

Partnership Agreement Space – OU IT partners with a variety of University of Oklahoma colleges and departments to provide support for faculty, staff and students on an incident or hourly basis. There is no cost for partnership agreement spaces unless the college or department requests dedicated support; in which case, support will be billed at $25/hr.

Non-Managed Space – Support is billed at $25/hr.

Availability

7:30am – 7pm, Monday – Friday

8am – 5pm, Saturday

As technology advisor and consultant, we help faculty, staff and students explore and articulate their present and future needs through our understanding of how technology and pedagogies interact. We enable partnerships that inform and shape the environment, resulting in better-designed facilities for the University. The team assesses the technology needs of the individual and matches the appropriate collaborative, conferencing and interactive teaching tool for each unique scenario.
