EC500 (Extension to Cellular) is a feature which allows you to place outbound calls from any cell phone while ‘masking’ the phone number. Calls placed with EC500 will show the recipient your preferred campus phone number or Department/Clinic name rather than the true cell phone number you are calling from.
The EC500 feature requires a one-time configuration in the OU phone system, as well as, with your cell phone number in advance. You must provide the desired outbound caller ID description to be displayed to all recipients. The system will rely upon your cell phone number for authentication.

This service is available to all OU-Tulsa faculty and staff within the School of Community Medicine and OU Health Physicians-Tulsa.
