Add captions to a video on MyMedia

How to add captions to a video on MyMedia:

• • Log in at mymedia.ou.edu with your OUNetID and password 

  • Click on your name to access a drop-down menu 

  • Select My Media from the menu

  • Click Edit on the video requiring captions 

  • Select the Captions tab 

   

  • Click Upload captions file 

   

  • Click Browse 

  • Select the proper caption file  

  • Use the drop-down to select the proper language 

  • Provide a label for the caption selector (typically the language; ex: English) 

  • Click Save
