Download Your Video from MyMedia
MyMedia videos can be easily downloaded from mymedia.ou.edu to allow you to share the video file, store the file on your device, and edit it on your device. We will walk through how to download a video from MyMedia below.
You must own the video that you want to download, and you must change the video settings to allow for downloads.
1. Go to mymedia.ou.edu and click Guest in the upper right corner of the page. Next, click Login and sign in with your OUNetId and password.
2. In the upper right corner, click your name where it said Guest previously and select My Media.
3. A list of the videos that you own or manage will be displayed on the My Media page. Click the pencil icon to the right of the video title you want to download.
4. On the Edit Video Screen, select the Download Icon, In the tool bar located in the upper right corner of the video player.
Note, you may need to play the video for a few seconds to open the tool bar in the upper right.
5. Select the video quality level that you want to download, and click the download icon. You may download as many versions of the video as you need.
You can also download the captions files for the video from this area.
