This article contains various frequently asked questions about the new Canvas to ONE PeopleSoft Final Grade submission process.
What are the common links we should know and bookmark?
I see students in ONE that dropped my course, can I still submit grades?
Yes, this is a current known issue that will be resolved later after May 16th. As long as the student is showing Inactive in your Canvas course, they are officially dropped in PS and a grade cannot be submitted through the ONE process because there is not an active enrollment.
Are instructors able to release grades to PS the way we did in the Fall?
No, that process has been removed. They must use the ONE portal for grade submission to PS.
I see a course, but do not see the Grades tab.

Can someone be the secondary instructor in PeopleSoft and submit grades?
Yes, we recommend communication between primary and secondary instructors to ensure who will be the one to submit grades, but as long as someone is listed as an instructor in PS, they have access to submit. We do recommend it be the primary instructor.
When do changes in PeopleSoft occur? Is it real time or overnight?
Any changes to PS occur overnight - this includes changes to instructors of record, enrollments, courses, and grades. The process kicks off at 0300 AM.
What does Canvas Current Grade and Canvas Calculated Grade mean?
Current grade is the current running total of all graded items. Calculate grades is the calculation of all grades including any items not graded (-). You always want these columns to be the same. The exception is when you are using the Override option and then the Calculated Grade will show up differently.
What if my student count is wrong from Canvas to ONE?
If you are in a combined/cross-listed Canvas course, you must remember to go into each course section separately in ONE to process grades. Unsure if you have a combined course, go to Settings, Sections and if you see multiple courses listed, you have a combined course.
