Body

Follow these steps if you've received a secure, encrypted email.

If you've received an email from securemail@ouhsc.edu, the body of the email will contain instructions for viewing the secure message.
Open the attachment SecureMessageAlt.html.
Click the Click to read message button.
If this is the first time you've received an encrypted email from OUHSC, you'll be prompted to go through an enrollment process.
- Enter first name
- Enter last name
- Enter a password (password must have at least one number, one special character; must not have all or part of the account name; password expires in 90 days; system remembers last six passwords)
- Retype the password to confirm it
- Select a password reset security question
- Enter the answer
- Click the Continue button
After finishing the enrollment process, you'll be able to view the email.
When viewing the email, you'll be able to Reply or Reply All, if needed. However, you won't be able to forward the email.
When finished reading or replying to the email, click the Logout button in the upper right corner.
If you forget the password, click the Forgot Password button.
Answer your security question, click the Continue button.
You'll now be able to change the password, click the Continue button.
Once the password has been changed successfully, you'll be shown the secure email.
When finished reading or replying to the secure email, click the Logout button in the upper right corner.
