OneNote Reconnection Steps Post Email Transition

This article is intended for Health Science users who have issues with OneNote after their primary email address has been transitioned to "ou.edu". Please try the following:

To reconnect a workbook:

  1. Open OneNote
  2. In a web browser, navigate to portal.office.com and login with your email address.
  3. Select OneNote.
  4. Select My Notebooks. M365 My Notebooks list in OneNote
  5. Open the desired notebook and select “Open in OneNote”.
  6. If a pop-up appears, select “Open in OneNote 2016”
  7. OneNote will open, and a security pop-up will appear. Select Yes to continue.
  8. The notebook will now begin to sync into your OneNote.

Alternately, if that does not resolve your issues, please try the following:

  1. Proceed to portal.office.com.
  2. Click "Apps" then OneDrive.M365 Apps list home page
  3. Click on the OneNote Notebook. 
    • This should sync the notebook
  4. Open OneNote.
