Microsoft Copilot

Microsoft Copilot is an artificial intelligence (AI) chat companion for the web that can provide insights and draft content, analyze data, or create new content based on parameters you provide. Copilot is built on the latest GPT-4 and DALL-E 3 large language models, and is grounded in the Bing search index to provide responses with the most current information with verifiable citations for transparency.

When logged into Copilot using your OU ID, Copilot provides organization-wide data protection for OU institutional data. CoPilot for Web has been approved for use with all data types. Once logged in to CoPilot for Web with a valid OU email address and password, one may verify that Enterprise Data Protection is enabled by clicking the shield icon in the upper right-hand corner.

Copilot is a web service available to OU faculty & staff users at copilot.microsoft.combing.com/chat, or through Copilot in the Microsoft Edge browser. Copilot is also available through the Copilot, Bing, Edge, Microsoft Start, and Microsoft 365 mobile apps.
