Windows 10 Computer
1. Find the search bar in the bottom left of your screen next to the Windows icon.
2. Type "About Your PC" or "Device Name"
3. Hit Enter
4. Your Computer Name is the one that says "Device Name"
Windows 11 Computer
1. Find the search bar in the bottom middle of your screen next to the Windows icon.
2. Type "About Your PC" or "Device Name"
3. Hit Enter
4. Your Computer Name is the one that says "Device Name"
No Search bar?
1. Click the Windows logo at the bottom left or bottom middle of your screen
2. Click the gear icon or the "Settings" icon
3. Find the search bar and type "About Your PC"
4. Hit Enter
5. Your Computer Name is the one that says "Device Name"
Mac Computer
1. Click the Apple logo at the top left of your screen
2. Click System Preferences/Settings
3. In the System Preferences window, click Sharing. Your computer name will be listed at the top of the Sharing window.
