Phones at the University can be configured in different ways for long distance calling:
- Long distance is disallowed, only local calls can be made.
- Long distance calls can be made as long as a Personal Billing Code is entered.
- Long distance calls can be made without a Personal Billing Code being needed. Long distance charges are directly applied to the department billing account on file for the phone in question.
