Within OnPoint, HSC students are assigned to HIPAA Training and Sexual Assault Prevention training as needed. HIPAA is an annual requirement assigned every 11 months from date of last completion. Sexual Assault Prevention training is a one time requirement, with new assignments typically going out around the start of the fall semester. Students only need to complete these two courses if they have a current assignment in place. These assignments will be shown below the Announcements on the OnPoint homepage.
Some HSC programs have additional Environmental Health and Safety Office training requirements (EHSO). The specific EHSO requirements can differ from program to program so please check with your college or adviser if you have questions about what is required. These courses are not assigned and must be self-enrolled in as needed from the Student EHSO Training topic within the OnPoint Library.
Students who need certificates for completed training can access them from their Training Transcript in OnPoint by clicking on the certificate/diploma icon next to the record on the transcript. This will allow you to save a PDF version of the certificate.
