This article is intended for OUHSC students and graduates who have completed all of their programs and are no longer enrolled in a Health Sciences program.
Remember: OU policy requires device encryption on laptop computers that may store sensitive or confidential information (e.g., SSN and financial information, patient information). For laptops used by OU Health Sciences Center Students, the presumption is that the device may be used for this purpose; therefore, OU policy requires all student devices have the built-in encryption always turned on while you are a Health Sciences Center Student.
Mac Sassafras Uninstall Steps
- Go to 'System Preferences'
- Locate 'KeyAccess'
- Right-click and remove it from the Preference Pane
- Go to 'Macintosh HD' then 'library folder'
- Locate the 'KeyAccess' folder and delete the folder
Windows Sassafras Uninstall Steps
- Search for 'programs'
- Select 'Add or Remove Programs'
- Select 'KeyAccess'
- Click Uninstall
